Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Book Tracker · Kids & Families application by StoryKeeper (the "Service") operated by the Developer ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Accounts and Family Use

1.1 Account Creation

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

1.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account on StoryKeeper. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age.

If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your place of residence), you may only use the Service with the prior consent of your parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

If you are a parent or guardian using the Service to manage profiles for family members under the age of 13:

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of StoryKeeper and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

3. User Content and Data Visibility

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

3.1 Personal Reading Data

Content related to your personal reading habits, such as reading logs, progress updates, and personal book lists, is considered "Personal Content."

You grant us a license to host and display this Personal Content solely in accordance with your sharing settings. This means your data is private to you by default, but may be visible to others if you explicitly choose to share it (e.g., with a co-manager of your family profile, or within a group you join).

3.2 Crowdsourced Book Database

When you manually add a book to the Service by providing factual data (such as Book Title, Author, ISBN, or Cover Image), you acknowledge that this "Book Metadata" is not private.

By submitting Book Metadata, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute this data as part of our public book database. This allows other users to find and scan the book you added.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms or if we have evidence to believe you are abusing the system.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or delete your account through the app settings.

In no event shall the Developer, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
